"MARKETS"

The markets have their origin in the trading of livestock. Although these days this activity seems to have virtually disappeared they still maintain the character as the main meeting place for people of different villages. The main meeting place takes place today around a plate of the famous "pulpo a feira" (Octopus) and beef cooked over wood (Churrasco)
